3 Songs I’m Vibing With:

Gone Gone Beyond is my favorite up-and-coming band at the moment and that's not just because of their awesome name. Their layered melodies and captivating vocals carry a unique spiritual sound. This live rendition of their song Gravity is an illustrative example.

Leave This City by Rob Riccardo is hitting differently for me as I prepare to move out of Philadelphia. Rob Riccardo, an Arizona-based acoustic songwriter, consistently releases songs that are both melodic and meaningful.

This song appeared for me on a playlist that I've been bumping the past few weeks: Work From Home - Feel Good Focus. It's a game-changer for focusing - try it out.

2 Water-Based Fitness Tools I’m Loving:

🌊 The Onnit Hydrobag is a water-filled bag that's shaped like one of those travel pillows you put around your neck. It can be filled with water to the desired weight and then used as a free weight for a variety of movements, such as squats, lunges, and presses. The water in the Hydrobag shifts and moves as the bag is being used, which helps to engage the core and stabilizer muscles, providing a fun and challenging full-body workout.

💧The Hidrate Smart Water Bottle has a built-in sensor that tracks your water intake and sends that data to an app on your phone. The sensor tracks how much water you drink throughout the day and syncs that data with an app on your phone. You can set daily targets and see insightful data. I’ve drank a gallon of water a day for the last four and my body is super happy about it. Shoutout to my boss, Quazi, for the thoughtful gift.

1 Idea I’m Meditating On:

Whenever I’m recommended something from someone (new), I look into it (especially so).

I believe that our God/Creator/Universe communicates with us through our experiences of the world’s events.

Coincidentally, music producer Rick Rubin also referenced this idea in his recent podcast interview with Tim Ferris, included above.

“You always get the cast of characters and circumstances for what you need to learn,” as coach Peter Crone says.

Whether it's a recommendation from a friend, a difficult coworker, or an unexpected change of plans, these two questions I find helpful in trying to make sense of it all:

What is this truly about? & What is this teaching me?

Where did this new format come from?

During my high school & college, I created study guides based on crowd-sourced notes and shared them with my friends & classmates.

Chances are if you knew me during those years, you used one at some point.

I loved the process of bringing together the best of many inputs and building a product that provided strong results in a streamlined way.

This is my attempt to return that that ethos:

To maximize enjoyment & effectiveness in life, while reducing the time & effort needed.

Thank You for Reading.

I’m curious - what’d you think of the new format?

Give me a shout if you remember using one of my study guides 👀

Your friend & supporter,

Aidan
