How to Slow Down Time & Gain Clarity

Hey - I hope you’re doing well.

Last weekend, I flew to Vegas with my Dad to see a show at the Sphere.

We had an incredible time together & I’m sure there will be more to share soon.

When I got back to Philly though, on Monday morning, I realized that it was the first full week of August.

Didn’t summer just begin?

As time moves quickly, it’s important to slow down, pause, and reflect.

Someone once said “it is in self reflection that we discover ourselves.”

I believe that reflection plays a crucial role in cultivating wellness.

It allows us to see - what’s working & what’s not.

Without reflection, there’s no awareness.

And awareness is the first step of all change.

And here are the questions I’ve been exploring recently, thanks to the Clever Fox Planner, which I’d highly recommend to anyone looking to get more organized or productive.

Looking back on each month:

  • What were your biggest wins?

  • What were your biggest lessons learning & insights gained?

  • Which life areas were lacking and why?

  • What tasks were not accomplished and why?

  • How do I feel about your progress this month?

  • On a scale of 1 to 10, how do you feel overall about this past month?

  • How will you improve next month?

Answering these questions has given me a better understanding & appreciation for the life I’m living, while also helping me plan my months ahead.

Take a moment to answer these for yourself.

You may find that reflection not only slows down time, but also builds appreciation for where you are & clarity for where you are heading.
