Better Late Than Never

This Newsletter & More

Hey friend - hope your week is wrapping up well.

I’m a little shocked that this newsletter got out today. It's the latest I've ever sent one out, by far.

Between traveling to Asheville this week & wrapping up month-end close at work, I was convinced that I would just skip this week & talk to you next week.

Then I realized the theme for today. And it's way bigger than this letter.

Better Late Than Never.

I don't know about you, but heading into this year, there were many things I wanted to do. One of them being, a breath-work class.

Up until early December, I still had not followed through on this intention.

I had numerous opportunities throughout the year, but I never made the move.

I let fear get the best of me.

But a few weeks ago, seemingly out of thin air though, I heard that a friend of a friend would be hosting an event just 20 miles from my Philly apartment.

I wrote a reflection piece on this experience, but the short of it is - I went.

And it exceeded all expectations I had imagined.

So that event and this newsletter going out at 6pm on a Friday are proof that:

It's Better Late Than Never.

There's only 15 days left in 2022.

What did you intend on creating this year?

How are those goals going so far?

How might you honor those initial intentions in the days to come?

This is your simple reminder - there's still time.

It's Better Late Than Never.

For the last three months, I've been playing in an intramural soccer league with some friends, new & old. Last Saturday, we took home the championship after a 1-0 victory. Grateful to be playing again and for this group.

A wild view from National Bridge State Park, Virginia.

My co-worker Jeff and I linked up for beers after work Wednesday night. The food scene in Asheville is out of this world. Still thinking about the coffee stout I had.

The used bookstore was a surprise highlight of the trip. Bought these 12 books for a total cost of $13. Stoked to dive in.

I appreciate you reading.

Hope you have an awesome weekend ahead.
