✍️ 4 Quotes for Inspiration This Week & Beyond:

“The greatest revolution of our generation is the discovery that human beings, by changing the inner attitudes of their minds, can change the outer aspects of their lives.” William James

“The great force of history comes from the fact that we carry it within us, are unconsciously controlled by it in many ways, and history is literally present in all we do.” James Baldwin

“Love is our blueprint. Choice is our power. Life is our school.” Dr. Dan Engle

“This is the basic scientific attitude: if you can decide that something is false, you are coming closer to the truth. Truth is not available in the market so that you can go directly and order it. It is not ready-made, available. You have to experiment. So always remain experimentative. And never become smug. Never thinking that whatever you are doing is perfect. It is never perfect. It is always possible to improve on it; it is always possible to make it more perfect." Osho

🎧 3 Songs for Listening & Playlist Consideration

Shoutout to Spotify for putting this one on my Discover Weekly playlist— it’s been on repeat as I navigate a crazy work week.

This new collaboration between Joy Oladokun and Chris Stapleton is proof that romance is not dead.

Since walking across America in 2019, Mike Posner has been on a fascinating spiritual journey that led him to climb Mount Everest in 2021, and recently released a new single that's both weird & brilliant. The music video takes it up yet another level.

💡 2 Ideas from Q3 2022

At the end of each quarter, I review my journals and make a list of the 10 biggest wins & lessons from the past three months. Often, the lessons are still in the process of being learned. Ideas that I am just beginning to understand.

Here are two of the concepts that most resonated.

No Hurry, No Pause

As it's explained by Breema Center director John Schreiber, "when you rush, time shrinks. When you're relaxed, time expands."

Intentional Action + Consistency + Patience = Results

How you change the world is by how you see the world. Paul Selig.

What we believe - our perception - shapes our reality.

Want a new reality? Change what you believe and therefore, perceive.

☀️ 1 Video for The Perfect Morning Routine

Dr. Andrew Huberman is a neuroscientist and Professor in the Department of Neurobiology at Stanford University. He researches brain development, brain function, and neutral plasticity, and shares these same topics on the Huberman Lab Podcast.

He collaborated with one of my favorite channels on YouTube, After Skool, to record an animated whiteboard explanation of the science behind the perfect morning routine.

I don't know about you, but the weather turning cold makes it exponentially more difficult to get out of bed in the morning. The practices in this video are the antidote.

And that’s it for this week - short, sweet, and hopefully helpful.

Hope you have a great one ahead.

With Gratitude,

Aidan
